1. Engagement & Acceptance
By accessing the Crawlexa website, requesting a custom data sample, or commissioning a managed data extraction pipeline, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Master Service Agreement. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a corporation, organization, or enterprise entity, you represent that you possess the requisite authority to bind such entity.
2. Description of Managed Services
Crawlexa engineers and operates distributed crawler clusters, browser automation frameworks, and schema anomaly monitoring engines to harvest, normalize, and deliver publicly accessible web information directly into client-designated cloud destinations.
- Managed Web Scraping: Full-lifecycle crawler development, maintenance, and DOM change patching.
- Real-Time APIs: Low-latency extraction endpoints with automated proxy rotation and anti-bot resilience.
- AI / LLM Datasets: Curated, deduplicated, and formatted corpus collection for model training and fine-tuning.
3. Universal Offer: $0 Development Fee on 1st Project
The client is billed solely for ongoing monthly crawler runs, bandwidth, and maintenance based on agreed page volume tiers. Subsequent separate project scopes may be subject to standard architectural setup fees as quoted in formal Statements of Work (SOW).
4. Data Ownership & Intellectual Property
Client Owns All Extracted Deliverables: Upon delivery and settlement of agreed operational fees, Crawlexa assigns all worldwide rights, title, and commercial interest in the normalized datasets, custom CSV/JSON deliverables, and aggregated reports to the client.
Crawlexa Retains Core Infrastructure IP: Crawlexa retains all proprietary rights to its underlying crawling frameworks, anti-bot resilience algorithms, TLS rotation engines, selector healing code, and server cluster orchestration software.
5. Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Guarantees
For all active managed enterprise subscriptions, Crawlexa commits to the following operational performance targets:
- 99.8% Extraction Accuracy: Automated validation algorithms check field completeness and datatype consistency prior to dispatch.
- < 2-Hour DOM Break Remediation: If a target website modifies its HTML layout or pagination logic, our site-reliability engineers deploy patched selectors within 2 hours.
- 99.9% Infrastructure Availability: Redundant multi-region proxies and worker clusters guarantee continuous scheduled execution.
6. Permitted & Prohibited Uses
Clients agree to utilize Crawlexa services strictly for legitimate commercial intelligence, price benchmarking, digital shelf tracking, market analysis, and AI model development in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. Clients may NOT instruct Crawlexa to:
- Harvest information protected by non-public authentication barriers, paywalls, or private account logins.
- Collect personal identifying information (PII), health records, or confidential financial credentials.
- Execute targeted denial-of-service (DoS) or overwhelming request cadences intended to degrade host servers.
